I commissioned this work from Kevin for the Gamma Knife of Spokane. The purpose of this piece was to bring comfort to the patients as they are getting treatment for cancer. While this is placed in a clinical situation, upon turning off all of the overhead lights, the spotlights on the piece turn the entire radiation vault into soft hues of green and yellow. Upon doing so, we often hear patients sigh. It relaxes them. I can’t think of a better use of art than to bring comfort. In fact, someone from the facilities team at the hospital referred to this painting as “therapeutic“. I agree. Brilliant work Kevin! Thank you so much.
We are friends of Bo’s and recently stopped by his place and saw some of your work which we really loved. He shared your website with us and mentioned that your studio is in our neighborhood. We would love to see more of your pieces if you ever have events or a time in which we could stop by.

This is exquisite Kevin! [Akhenaten]
Found you through Jerry Saltz. Love that tension of abstraction and something almost recognizable. [Spiritu]
